Encouragement

I’ve noticed that in some teachers/parents/employers/leaders, it’s popular to criticize others in order to get them to ‘work harder’, ‘be more productive’, ‘produce more sales’, etc. I usually don’t respond to that sort of self serving behavior; I go the opposite direction unless I feel the directive is beneficial. I believe encouragement is a more effective tool for all involved.
